Reckon Chelsea could have had a case for a couple of penalties, but they were their own worst enemy for diving all over the place. That Chilwell one was shameful. All the talk about Reece James being the best RB in the world only for Conor Bradley to put that chat to bed in 70 minutes of football. Not sure I've seen Reece James put in a performance like that, to be honest. He might have - I don't watch a lot of Chelsea. I don't have a huge desire to too after watching that.
Anyway, they’re none of our business (apart from the final). The Reds, there. Not only was it the best performance this season, but it might be the best performance for a number of years (with the exception of Manchester United at home, obviously). Intensity in attack, aggression in defence. The woodwork stopped the Reds scoring 7, 8 or 9 there. Incredible performance.
They want this title. I want this title. We all want this title. Defending from the front like their lives depended on it. Putting everything on the line for the fella that’s made this happen. Goosed next season? Legs fallen off by November next season? Probably. Who cares at this point. Win the lot for the main man. Worry about next year when it comes around.
The next one is a big one. Might be THE big one. The one that Man City will have their eye on. Can the Reds go there and win? Yes. Will they? I’m not sure. It’s set up to be a classic. I’ll take any win at this point. A 90 minute deflection off Konate’s arse into the back of Arsenal’s net will do for me. Anything.
