#25 I, four one, enjoy it when the Reds win 4-1 (don't like injuries though) | PL Brentford (a)

This had the potential to be one of those games; another 12:30 kick off, Brentford away, more injuries. It had all of the hallmarks. If they wanted excuses, they had excuses. But they didn’t need them. There’s a league to be won, and this was a big chance to put some pressure on Man City ahead of their game against Chelsea. I thought they were great, the Reds. They never really allowed Brentford to find rhythm in the game, they didn’t allow their fans to wake up, and they looked a threat every time they went forward. More of this, please.

Darwin, there. I was thinking just pass it to Jota, don’t be silly, just pass the ba… oh nevermind. What a finish. The audacity. The confidence. Love it. He’s a bundle of fun, and he’s one of the first names on the team sheet every week.

All five of the attacking lads are just brilliant and I’m gutted Jota’s injury looks bad. I think there’s a case to be had that he’s been in his best form since signing for the Reds. Jones, too. So unfortunate with the injury, and hopefully it’s not a long term one.
