Just kill the game dead if you have to. Pass it around for 30. Do anything. Just stop conceding early goals. The lack of pressure on the Palace players was mind-blowing. The Reds made them look like 2012 Barca in the lead up to their goal. Incredible.

The rest of the game? I mean, how they didn’t score, I don’t know. Are they in their own heads? Possibly. Do they lack that killer edge? Possibly. Is someone going to take an absolute battering from the Reds soon? Possibly. The fact of the matter is, when the crunch time has come, the Reds haven’t delivered. It’s far from over for the title, but you just can’t give Man City a 2 point lead in a title race. It’s criminal. Especially when the teams you’ve played should have been dispatched with relative ease. Crystal Palace offered nothing after minute 30. Manchester United should never have scored 2. It’s too easy for opposition teams, and too difficult for the Reds. A long way still to go, but time is running out and they’ve hit a blip at an awful time of the season.
