Brighton seem to rock up and play like prime AC Milan whenever they play the Reds. Does my head in. To be fair, it probably wasn’t as nervy as it seemed at the time. I reckon if that March fella was playing, it’d be a different story. Ridiculous how good he is whenever he plays against Liverpool. Thought the Reds played well. Tricky first 35 minutes down that right hand side, but Bradley won a couple of challenges around the time they got the equaliser and the game changed. Much more comfortable and Brighton quietened down.

MacAllister. What a player. I was thinking all week about how I can’t wait to watch him play. Genuinely a joy to watch. I do wish he was a yard quicker, but he’s a gem for £35m and I think he’s just getting started. 

The less said about that ref, the better. And the fella on VAR. How that Diaz goal was given as offside, I’ll never know. A pair of jokers. Actually felt like the Reds were continually playing against 12 (or 13) men.
